During fiscal year 1999/2000, the University of Connecticut had committed to implementing the PeopleSoft product as a replacement for its existing student-related systems. The Core Team was identified and transferred to the PeopleSoft project, additional staff has been available to provide support to bring the new Student Information System into production. This was expected to be a major, multi-year project.
Student Administration
The Student Administration System database organizes and distributes bio/demographic and student data to the departments at the Storrs and Regional campuses and professional schools. The system supports the University business processes of admissions, registration, academic advisement, financial aid and student accounts.
